Born in South Korea, Zeke Anders was adopted and raised in Detroit before relocating to Los Angeles. His filmmaking work has won top honors at the Worldfest Houston, New York Festival, Austin Film Festival Screenplay Competition, Flagstaff Int’l Film Festival, two W3 Awards, and eight National Telly's. He's also been featured in NBC News, Asian-American News Journal, Daily Voice by eFM Seoul, and NPR to name a few.
Zeke created the groundbreaking, first of its kind talk/exhibition for The Detroit Institute of Arts, "Vlogzilla: Art of the vlog", a revealing look at this global trend of social media.
He's currently in production on The KAD Diaries, a photo book/multimedia art project that focuses on Korean adoptees and cultural self-identity across the U.S. The project is already getting international attention from EBS Seoul, The Huffington Post, and NBC News.
You can tune into Anders' acclaimed podcast, The Non-Members, on iTunes. The series highlights Creatives on creating, a candid dialogue on all things artistic. It is a featured arts podcast on Podbean.
Zeke Anders is a director/cinematographer, and editor. Excelling in testimonial/narrative and docu-style, he is sure to find those moments (sometimes, off-beat) that make up who we are and relate to in a personal way.
Owning a 4K Canon EOS C300 Mark II Digital Cinema Camera allows Anders to travel anywhere the projects lead. Zeke is available for feature, episodic, documentary, and commercial adventures.
