CHICAGO WOMEN’S MARCH

In 2018, women’s groups across the United States organized mass rallies that drew hundreds of thousands of participants in cities, towns, and suburbs nationwide. These events were mirrored by demonstrations in countries such as Canada, the UK, Japan, Italy, and others. Major rallies in the U.S. took place in cities including New York, Washington, Los Angeles, Dallas, Philadelphia, Chicago, San Francisco, and Atlanta. The march’s mission was to unite and empower women from diverse backgrounds to drive societal change by dismantling systems of oppression through nonviolent action rooted in morality and respect.
